Really Random

Don't ask me why but lately I kinda feel like writing again, was never a great writer but used to write quite a fair bit.

Maybe because lately I'm tested both physically and emotionally much more often these days than ever? Well, a couple of weeks back, I made the biggest decision I had to in 2 years and I believe I called the right shot, it was absolutely necessary. It was a painful one, something I wished I could reverse but youth is a commodity that should not be wasted.

Assignments are wrapping up, now I have just one more assignment presentation to go, which will be Dr Selva's. I have profound respect for her and I sure hope I do well.

This entry is really dry, but it feels good. Maybe I should really write abit more often.

The Moment

The Moment

I waited for your appearance,
The piercing sun made no difference,
I would have waited forever,
For I've never felt this way ever.

Then you came,
With a smile brighter than any day,
The sun accentuated your demure features,
Rendering my breaths at bay.

It was the moment,
Short and sweet,
You have made me a captive,
For these eyes never set upon anyone so attractive.

It was the moment that reminds,
That you were never out of mind,
It was an image that will last,
Framed by my heart and soul.

A1 GP Qualifying Session

I won 4 grandstand tickets to watch the Sepang leg of the A1 GP race so I invited Carerre, Jow Liie and Sok to tag along. Here are some of the pics. My camera snapped 400 alone.

The first seat we chose was right opposite the pit area and Brazil's stop was the closest. Brazillian flag waving as their mechanics discuss about..urmm..something.

This lil gal almost knocked me over.

Haha..what you wouldn't know is that the sun was really scorching and yet the few of us stood there in the open for hours doing what Carerre was doing in this pic.

Carerre and a directional board. Didn't that almost sound like a oxymoron?haha..

Jow Liie walking as we our seats to grab some lunch.

Gtg for now..will post more pics after.

Photography 101..Blogger's current level - 1

My dad enjoying the serenity and comfort of some pretty expensive Chinese tea with my granny and my cousin sis in the background.

The lethally hot chinese teapot which served my dad's tea obsession with my sis in the background.

The ladies of the family.

My elder cousin sis Evonne on the phone.

My grandpa and his undying love for Merc.

Firstly, pardon me if the photos are slightly noobish. Still trying to understand that black fantasy (again, that refers to my Nikon) of mine.

Haha..as you photo junkies will know..photography is extremely addictive and annoying to people around you (I would know as it's only my first week having it and there are people who's asking me to stop snapping away already). Anyway, these 5 pictures are some of the pics I took during my grandparents' visit last weekend. We were having lunch at some fancy(not to mention obscenely overpriced) Hakka restaurant in Sunway Pyramid. The lunch session was just minutes after I got my camera.

Needless to say..I snapped away.

Atlas..An Update of me life

The last time that you guys read anything from this particular blog. The blogger was suffering from the unforgiving and often condemning 3 -ings in life. Fearing, mentally deceasing and suffering. All down to a brief spell living in the real world where the comfort of home is swapped for daily travels to the heart of our rotten capital for an internship. Now the blogger has broken out of that mould and finally content with the way things are going.

The blogger has acquired his beloved Nikon D60 and can't wait to learn the ropes of photography. For now he is nothing but a photo junkie/headless chicken blessed with one of the best entry level Digital Single Lens Review cameras money can buy. (Thank you so much mom for paying a portion of it:D!). Next gadget targetted ( 50mm lens and Samsung Omnia 16gb..no worries mom and pa..I'll get those myself). However, due to the new found hobby and luxury the blogger has permitted himself, he's back to square one - broke and constantly sulking due to the lack of ka-chings. Luckily, the blow is often softened by hours and hours under the hot blazing Malaysian sun taking photos of nature. In all honesty, the blogger has never been this enthralled by the wonders of nature HE has created. Maybe photography is quite a constructive hobby after all, then again this particular sentiment might be heavily influenced by the blogger's desperation to justify the fact he splurged close to 2k on a needless black box of buttons and lenses.

Anyway, I had a perfectly weird/kinky dream last night. Nothing sexual, just me and a certain Angelina Jolie frollicking on the beach. I credit this particular dream-come-true-dream to endless hours of potato couching, watching nothing but the sinfully addictive E! True Hollywood Story series. By the way, due the reluctance to wake up from that dream, my friend Ye En was forced to miss a class she herself did not want to attend. Yeah, I was supposed to fetch her to uni and yeah I know, I'm a great friend/driver to have.

Malacca Trip 2008

Finally, I've managed to haul my ravaged soul out of the valley of laziness to update my blog. These pics are taken by Jow Liie with her trusty Canon 4mp compact cam. The pics are really pretty good considering the cam she used was pretty..urmm..let's not insult her cam..pics did turn up pretty nice..haha..the pics are mainly scenic..i'll post people pics in another post.

This picture was taken in St Paul, I think Jow Liie wanted a picture of the relic walls rather than Dot...but pardon her..she really can't help it...Camwhoring is an addiction.

Ahh check that out..doesn't it look heavenly..I was born in Malacca..never appreciated its beauty enough until I visited it as a tourist.

This is where we went at night, Jonker Street..anything sells here..you'll find a durian stall right beside a caricature stall.

The entrance to the washroom that the ladies had to buy drinks just to use. Has a very tropic feeling to it huh? wait...Malaysia is a tropical country *bangs head*

Haha...I must clarify first that I did not take this pic...It was taken from the ladies room..How the hell did they piss in peace when they are so many peep holes on the wall?

Next post,

There will be people pics. Enough of my indulgence for now..

Au revoir.

A Bored Ian is a crappy Ian

Got really bored, so decided to do some blog surfing. Came across this in Soo Fun's blog. Let's give this kinda stuff a try huh.

1) If your lover betrayed you, what would your reactions be ?
I'll probably give her a Columbian Necktie. People who know me well enough..you should know what it is..heheheee

2) If you can have a dream to come true, what would it be?
As much as I really wanna be all deep and sophisticated about this, I simply want to have a smile on my face when it's time for me to depart this world.

3) Are you satisfied with the way your life is right now?
It's never this low..coming across a point of life where I'm seriously realizing my limitations as a person. Life sucks and you die..haha that's a quote i got from a movie.

4) Are you confused of what lies ahead of you?
Not really..I like to plan stuff..not very great at executing though.

5) What's your ideal lover like?
One who's smarter than I am..which almost all women are..I think:S

6) People always say, Being loved is happier than giving love. So, my ideal lover shall be someone who will..
Actually accept my gift of love..hahaa...that was love_sux88 speaking really.

7) Which is more blessed, loving someone or being loved by someone?
No matter how horrible you are, someone's bound to love...I'll have to say that it's harder to love..

8) What is the one thing that pisses you off about the opposite sex?
Indecisiveness and their bitch fights (throw in some mud and skimpy lingerie, it could turn out real decent though :D)

9) How far will you go for the one you love the most?
That depends on the depth of my feelings I suppose

10) One word to describe yourself..
Lame

11) What is the most important moral value you learnt from your previous lover?
When it's time to let go, do so.

Anwar and Katy Perry

If the title of this post suggest that Anwar has anything to do with Katy Perry, I apologise. It was simply random thoughts that crossed my mind.

Let's start off with Katy Perry, her hit single I kissed a girl which is all about the sensation she felt when kissing a fellow girl is really stuck in my mind at the moment. You know lately there's a trend where super popular hit songs with a particular gender references tend to have spin offs from other artists? Eg. Beautiful Girl by Sean Kingston(which I find really annoying and whiny, can't get a gal that's out of your league? Get over it!) inspired a song by another female artist(I don know the name) with an opposite perspective.

Now, I'm really curious if any male artist would attempt the same and parody Katy Perry. Imagine a guy singing I Kissed a Guy. Don't imagine too hard or risk feeling disgusted.

What about Anwar then? I just saw an article about him in Malaysian today. He has just found evidence that he was totally innocent of all the sodomy allegations he's been dealt with. Apparently a doc from hosp Pusrawi certified that Saiful wasn't penetrated or sodomized by Anwar, or anyone else if it matters. Basically, that pretty boy is an ass-fuck virgin.

Apparently, the doc is on the run now. He is obviously being hunted and harassed by the gov and pol now due to his heroics. He uncoverev the truth. That the sodomy is truly a gov ploy to remove the threat to their dominance that is Anwar.

People, just think about the implications of this, if what Anwar claimed was true. The gov is truly in crisis here as there was never any hard evidence that our gov, pol or judicial system is corrupt.

Interesting times peeps.
